The passive triple glazing windows get lighter with a better reliability, that is the last technological advance in terms of passive components. The passive windows of second generation are designed with a lighter frame, whatever the used material. From now on, the section of frame in contact with the exterior is thus smaller, which reduces in fact the heat transfers by the frame between the inside and ythe outside of the building.
